A sampling of fused crosses is shown. I heat pieces of metal with my torch until they fuse together. The process cannot be controlled 100% and it is always a discovery to see what develops. People often say they can see a figure on the cross!
The pieces pictured here are accented with stones and crosses are also available without stones. Many are suited to convert to a key ring. Cross earrings are also available.
I work with all kinds of stones and metals (sterling and 14k, 18k, 22k gold and/or copper) for these pieces.

Description: An old rugged cross! This sterling silver cross pendant features a 4-mm round White Cultured Freshwater Pearl, bezel set in sterling. The pendant is made by fusing pieces of metal until they join. The process is not 100% controllable and the outcome is always a surprise and a discovery. A tiny brass wire runs aimlessly at the top right of the pearl. Copper blades can be seen through the sterling in several places. Overall dimensions are 53 x 45 mm. The back is stamped with initials JSE. A 16-inch sterling Italian 8-sided snake with lobster clasp is included. This piece is one of a kind and hand fabricated by J. S. Ellington.

The pendant is made by fusing pieces of metal until they join. The process is not 100% controllable and the outcome is always a surprise and a discovery. A small copper wire was fused into the belly of this piece, causing a slight copper coloration to the recesses. Overall dimensions are 60 x 35 mm. The back of the cross is stamped with JSE initials. A 16-inch sterling Italian 8-sided snake chain with lobster clasp is included. This piece is one of a kind and hand fabricated by J. S. Ellington.
