Description: Talk about a conversation starter! This sterling pendant features a freeform African Sugilite, measuring 35 x 20 mm, bezel set in fine silver. A 10-mm round faceted lab-created Alexandrite, tube set, accents the pendant on the top right. The background of the silver face is textured and embellished with areas of silver overlay that are highly polished. The edge of the pendant is a freeform swirl design with deep undulations. The silver overlay embellishments follow the line of the edge of the pendant and the top edge of the Sugilite. 
The overall dimensions are 65 x 47 mm (2.6 inch x 1.9 inch). The 16-inch 7-mm flat sterling omega chain with lobster clasp is included. 
JSE initials and sterling quality are stamped on the textured surface of the back.
The piece was designed and hand fabricated by J. S. Ellington and it is one of a kind. The pendant is sold with a black velvet bag with the J. S. Ellington logo which is inside a white cardboard packer. An anti-tarnish square is included. A signed and numbered certificate is provided in a packet which also includes care instructions.
Modern technology has enabled scientists to duplicate natural gems in a laboratory environment. The terms synthetic and lab-created describe a stone that has been manufactured so that its composition is virtually the same as that of its natural counterpart. 
Be sure to differentiate the terms above from the term “simulated,” which means imitation.
The lab-created gems do not display lack of color clarity and do not have imperfections that some of the natural gems exhibit. 
Lab-created stones allow the artist to employ the colors of some precious stones without having a prohibitive cost in the finished piece.
The use of a lab-created stone should be disclosed, but then it is your secret to share or to keep to yourself.
Most jewelry lovers will own both natural and lab-created stones.

Description: This sterling pendant features a 28.5 x 20 mm freeform Canadian Ammolite which is fabricated into a triplet and it flashes colors of deep red, orange, green, and gold, according to where the light hits it. The Ammolite sits atop a textured snaking 10-gauge wire which is appointed at the tip with a prong-set faceted 4 mm Mexican Fire Opal.  The overall dimensions are 50 x 30 mm. The 16-inch 4-mm flat sterling omega with lobster clasp is included. 
The back is stamped with JSE initials and sterling. The piece is one of a kind and was designed and hand fabricated by J. S. Ellington.

Description: This sterling pendant features a freeform Mexican Opalite, measuring 40 x 24 mm, bezel set in fine sterling. A 4-mm round faceted Peridot, tube set, accents the pendant at the bottom. The top of the pendant is appointed with a frond fan design with the tip of each part of the fan decorated with a tiny sterling ball. The background of the silver face is textured. Overall dimensions are 50 x 48 mm (2 inches x 1.92 inches). The back of the pendant is textured. The stripes in the cabochon are yellow and lime green. There is a small amount of orange dappling in the top left-hand corner. The sterling omega is included. This piece was designed and hand fabricated by  J. S. Ellington.
