Comment: This cabochon was dyed for uniformity of color. A homemade jewelry cleaner can be made by dissolving about one tablespoonful of Arm and Hammer Washing Soda in a cup of very warm (not hot) water and throwing in a small piece (about one inch) of aluminum foil. Then put the jewelry piece in and let the tiny bubbles work for about one minute or so. Then rinse with reverse osmosis water and gently dry with a tee shirt or other soft cotton material.

Description: This size 6-1/2 sterling silver ring features a 6-mm round garnet cabochon, tube set in 14k gold. The garnet sits atop a freeform 14k gold design on the face of the ring. The finished on the gold is smooth and highly polished and it contrasts with the textured finished on the sterling. The band is freeform, ranging from 6mm at the shank to 15 mm near the stone. This ring is designed and hand fabricated by J. S. Ellington and is one of a kind.

The stone sits atop a textured platform that is deep-set inside the ends of a horseshoe-shaped sterling band. the band is textured and 10 mm wide. This ring is designed and hand fabricated by J. S.
